
Wang Kan broke men's long jump record which has stood for 26 years
25th May '08 - At the recent 3rd All Comers, Wang Kan of Wings Athletics Club broke Ng Yee Ming’s mens long jump record, which has stood for the past 26 years. The old mark stood at 7.34 meters and was replaced by a new record which now stands at 7.41 meters

14th March '08 - The event took place at the Bedok Reservoir in which 900 runners had signed up to compete. Only 2 races were completed on Day 1 due to inclement weather condition. The event was successfully completed on Day 2. The Guest- of-Honour was Mr Pang Tuck Wing, Chief Financial officer, Anchao Sports Pte Ltd

Radio Interview
13th March '08 - President Melvin Tan was invited for 2 interviews (live and recorded) over 93.8 Radio channel. The interviews were broadcast on 7.10am and 7.30pm. Said melvin:"It was a new and challenging experience... appreciate the opportunity."

8th March '08 - Anchao and Wings signed a sponsorship deal worth a total of at least SGD$50,000. The Signing Ceremony took place at the 1st Wings Seminar. It was followed by the Cheque Presentation to the Club and SEA Games athletes, with each receiving $1,000
